25 Best Christmas Clip Art Designs for Holiday Cards

Choosing the Best Christmas Clip Art for Holiday Cards

Christmas clip art for holiday cards needs to do more than look festive on its own. The artwork also has to work beside a greeting, recipient name, family message, or other typography without turning the card front into a crowded composition. Some projects call for nostalgic Santa scenes, while others work better with soft watercolor animals, retro graphics, traditional holiday symbols, or playful character art.

This selection focuses on Christmas clip art designs with clearly different visual directions, including vintage card artwork, watercolor illustrations, cozy scenes, classic seasonal elements, whimsical animals, and less conventional gothic or tarot-inspired choices. That variety makes it easier to match the artwork to the tone of the card rather than forcing one aesthetic onto every recipient.

The broader selection includes many related Christmas PNG graphics, while this roundup narrows the choice to designs suited to distinct holiday-card styles and audiences.

Christmas Clip Art for Holiday Cards and Greetings

1. Vintage Christmas Card PNG Bundle

Vintage Christmas Card PNG Bundle is one of the most direct fits for old-fashioned holiday cards because the artwork is already centered on a nostalgic Christmas-card aesthetic. The collection includes 22 PNG graphics and is specifically presented for uses that include greeting cards, scrapbooks, stickers, and other printed projects.

Choose this set when you want the illustration itself to establish most of the card’s personality. The vintage presentation suits traditional greetings especially well. For a lighter contemporary layout with more visual breathing room, a watercolor or isolated-element bundle may be easier to combine with large typography.

2. Christmas Tarot Card Clipart Bundle

Christmas Tarot Card Clipart Bundle takes holiday card design in a mystical direction, combining tarot-inspired framing with festive Christmas imagery. The bundle contains multiple PNG files and works best when the card is intended for someone who appreciates magical, witchy, spiritual, or alternative seasonal artwork.

This is a much more specific aesthetic than classic Santa or watercolor greenery, which is exactly its strength. Use it when the unusual visual concept is part of the message. For broadly traditional family greetings, one of the vintage or conventional Christmas bundles will feel more familiar.

3. Vintage Christmas Card Clipart Bundle

Vintage Christmas Card Clipart Bundle features nostalgic scenes with Santa, carolers, reindeer, snowmen, North Pole imagery, festive markets, and Victorian-inspired illustrations. That breadth makes it useful when you want several holiday cards to share one vintage mood without repeating the exact same subject.

The artwork is particularly well suited to greeting cards, journaling, and scrapbook-style compositions. It carries more period character than a generic Christmas icon set, so pair it with typography that does not compete with the illustration. Choose a simpler isolated bundle instead when the greeting itself needs to dominate the front.

4. Vintage Christmas Trading Card PNG

Vintage Christmas Trading Card PNG centers on nostalgic trading-card-style holiday artwork, including Santa, trees, woodland animals, gingerbread characters, snowy scenes, gifts, candy canes, and wreaths. It works well for card makers who want a framed collectible look rather than loose decorative clip art.

The built-in trading-card character gives the artwork a strong focal structure, which can reduce the amount of extra decoration the layout needs. That makes it useful for simple fronts with one main image and a short greeting. For flexible scene building, choose a bundle of separate Christmas elements instead.

5. Christmas Clipart Santa Claus PNG Winter

Christmas Clipart Santa Claus PNG Winter combines vintage-inspired holiday graphics with familiar seasonal subjects such as Santa, ornaments, snowmen, trees, stockings, and gifts. The assortment is useful for making several cards with a consistent festive feel while still changing the central image from one recipient to another.

This bundle makes sense when you want recognizable Christmas imagery rather than a narrow character theme. Its broad subject mix is also helpful for matching different greetings. If the card needs a very restrained or elegant look, a focused watercolor set may produce a calmer composition.

6. Christmas Tarot Cards Clipart PNG Design

Christmas Tarot Cards Clipart PNG Design is a focused tarot-inspired Christmas graphic rather than a broad conventional holiday collection. It suits a card where one mystical image is intended to carry the design, especially for recipients who enjoy occult, witchy, spiritual, or fantasy aesthetics.

Compared with the larger Christmas Tarot Card Clipart Bundle above, this option is narrower and makes more sense when you need a single defined graphic rather than a coordinated series. For several cards with different tarot-style illustrations, the multi-image bundle offers more variation.

7. Watercolor Christmas Reindeer PNG Bundle

Watercolor Christmas Reindeer PNG Bundle focuses on whimsical reindeer in a painterly holiday style. The reindeer theme works naturally for cheerful family cards, children’s Christmas greetings, winter stationery, and designs where a character should feel festive without relying on Santa as the main subject.

Watercolor textures soften the playful concept and make the artwork easier to pair with warm handwritten or serif typography. Choose this bundle when you want repeated reindeer imagery across a coordinated card series. For greater subject variety, a general watercolor Christmas collection offers more flexibility.

8. Santa Scottie Dog Watercolor PNG Bundle

Santa Scottie Dog Watercolor PNG Bundle pairs Father Christmas with a black Scottish Terrier in soft watercolor compositions. It is especially suited to personalized Christmas cards for dog lovers or recipients who prefer a warm character scene over traditional ornaments and decorative symbols.

The collection includes multiple PNG illustrations with transparent backgrounds, making the Santa-and-dog relationship the defining visual theme. This narrow focus gives the cards personality, but it is less suitable when you need neutral artwork for a wide range of recipients. In that case, use a broader Christmas bundle.

9. Christmas Vintage Skeleton Card Clipart

Christmas Vintage Skeleton Card Clipart combines retro holiday-card styling with skeleton characters, Santa hats, candy canes, gingerbread, presents, poinsettias, festive scenes, and ornate card details. It is a distinctive choice for recipients who enjoy gothic humor or a slightly spooky twist on Christmas.

The vintage framing keeps the artwork recognizably seasonal even though the skeleton theme moves well outside conventional family-card imagery. Choose it when the contrast is intentional. For formal greetings, teachers, clients, or more traditional relatives, the classic or watercolor bundles are easier to adapt.

10. Christmas Brushstroke Clipart Designs Bu

Christmas Brushstroke Clipart Designs Bu uses painted brushstroke-style Christmas graphics rather than finished card scenes. The set contains eight PNG designs, making it useful when you want artistic texture behind a short greeting or a simple seasonal focal point without building an elaborate illustrated layout.

This type of artwork works especially well for modern handmade-looking cards where typography and graphic texture share the front. It is less suited to a card that needs detailed characters or storytelling. For that, choose one of the scene, Santa, animal, or vintage illustration bundles.

11. Cute Santa Gnome Christmas PNG Bundle

Cute Santa Gnome Christmas PNG Bundle centers on festive gnome and Santa-inspired characters in a playful Christmas style. It is a natural fit for casual family greetings, whimsical cards, kids-oriented layouts, scrapbook cards, and designs where the illustration should feel friendly rather than formal.

The coordinated character theme makes it easy to create a small set of cards that look related without being identical. Because gnome artwork has a strong personality, it may not fit recipients who prefer classic Victorian, botanical, or elegant holiday imagery. A traditional clipart bundle offers a more neutral direction.

12. Traditional Christmas Clipart Bundle

Traditional Christmas Clipart Bundle is aimed at familiar seasonal imagery rather than a niche aesthetic. The PNG graphics are positioned for projects including cards and feature the classic Christmas visual language that works well with straightforward greetings such as Merry Christmas, Season’s Greetings, or Happy Holidays.

Choose this option when the recipient mix is broad and you want artwork that immediately reads as Christmas. Its conventional approach is useful for family, community, or general-purpose cards. If you want the finished piece to feel more personal or surprising, one of the character, retro, or watercolor sets adds a stronger point of view.

13. Cozy Christmas Scenes Clipart PNG Design

Cozy Christmas Scenes Clipart PNG Design provides a set of scene-based Christmas graphics rather than isolated icons. It is useful for card fronts where the illustration should establish a complete winter atmosphere, such as a warm home, Christmas setting, snowy landscape, or other cozy seasonal composition.

Scene artwork reduces the need to assemble multiple decorative elements, which can speed up a simple card layout. The tradeoff is less open space for large text. If your greeting is several lines long, an isolated character or smaller decorative element may be easier to position around the wording.

14. Retro Christmas Festive Clipart PNG Desi

Retro Christmas Festive Clipart PNG Desi offers twelve PNG graphics built around retro and vintage holiday styling. This set fits cards that should feel nostalgic but more graphic and playful than a Victorian-style Christmas illustration or antique card reproduction.

The retro direction works well with bold display type, simple greetings, and mid-century-inspired layouts. Choose it when nostalgia is part of the design but you still want the card to feel lively. For softer cards with subdued edges and painterly textures, one of the watercolor bundles will be easier to coordinate.

15. Vintage Christmas Collage Sheet Bundle

Vintage Christmas Collage Sheet Bundle contains 20 Christmas PNG designs with a nostalgic ephemera and collage-sheet feel. It is particularly useful for layered cards, junk-journal-inspired greetings, scrapbook-style designs, and holiday stationery that deliberately looks collected or aged.

This set offers more of a paper-craft personality than a clean modern clipart bundle. Choose it when decorative layering is part of the card design. If the front needs one simple focal illustration with plenty of white space, a single character or watercolor element can create a cleaner result.

16. Christmas Cardinal Flower Ball Clipart

Christmas Cardinal Flower Ball Clipart uses cardinal and floral holiday imagery for a more decorative, nature-led Christmas card. The bundle includes multiple designs and is explicitly suited to uses including cards and scrapbooking, making it practical for botanical or bird-themed seasonal greetings.

This direction feels more restrained than cartoon characters and less generic than a mixed icon bundle. It is worth considering for adult recipients, nature lovers, or cards that need a traditional red seasonal accent without making Santa the focal point. For playful children’s cards, the animal-character bundles are a stronger fit.

17. Funny Christmas Sheep Sublimation Bundle

Funny Christmas Sheep Sublimation Bundle includes a collection of transparent PNG graphics built around humorous Christmas sheep. Although the product name emphasizes sublimation, the supplied PNG artwork can also suit playful card layouts where a quirky animal character is the main visual.

Choose this set for informal greetings, farm-animal fans, or cards where humor matters more than traditional elegance. The sheep theme is intentionally narrow, so it is less versatile for a mixed recipient list. A broader Christmas clipart bundle is more practical when one purchase needs to cover many card styles.

18. Christmas Door PNG Sublimation Bundle

Christmas Door PNG Sublimation Bundle contains transparent Christmas PNG graphics centered on decorated holiday door imagery. For card design, that gives you an immediately recognizable home-and-welcome theme that works naturally with greetings about coming home, warmth, family, or the Christmas season.

A doorway can function as the entire focal image, so this set works best with short typography placed above, below, or beside the illustration. It is more thematic than a general icon bundle. If you need several unrelated card concepts, a mixed Christmas collection provides greater range.

19. Cute Christmas Hedgehog Sublimation

Cute Christmas Hedgehog Sublimation provides a set of Christmas hedgehog PNG graphics with a watercolor and woodland-animal feel. The artwork is well suited to cheerful cards for animal lovers, children, families, or anyone who prefers a softer character theme over Santa, ornaments, or formal seasonal florals.

The coordinated hedgehog concept makes it easy to build a small card series while keeping the overall look consistent. It is less useful when you need business-like or traditional greetings. In those situations, classic Christmas symbols or the cardinal floral set may feel more appropriate.

20. Christmas Bundle Clipart

Christmas Bundle Clipart is a compact general-purpose Christmas graphics set intended for printed and creative projects. Instead of locking the card into a single niche such as tarot, hedgehogs, or vintage skeletons, it provides a broader seasonal direction that can work across several recipient types.

This makes sense when versatility matters more than having dozens of closely related illustrations. Use it for straightforward Christmas cards where the greeting and layout should remain as important as the graphic. For a coordinated series built around one strong aesthetic, one of the larger themed bundles provides more visual continuity.

21. Cute Christmas Clipart PNGs Bundle

Cute Christmas Clipart PNGs Bundle is aimed at a playful seasonal look rather than formal or vintage card design. The cute styling makes it suitable for cheerful greetings, kids-oriented layouts, family cards, gift notes, and other projects where friendly Christmas imagery fits the recipient.

Choose this bundle when the card should feel light and approachable. A cute aesthetic can be very effective for informal greetings, but it is less natural for restrained corporate stationery or antique-inspired cards. For those, traditional, floral, or vintage artwork will create a more appropriate tone.

22. Watercolor Christmas Clipart Bundle

Watercolor Christmas Clipart Bundle contains 20 watercolor designs featuring familiar seasonal subjects including Santa, Christmas trees, animals, and cookies and milk. The softer painterly treatment makes this set especially useful for handmade-looking greeting cards that need warmth without the heavier visual weight of retro or collage artwork.

This is one of the more flexible options when you want several different card fronts to share the same watercolor style. It also leaves room to vary the recipient and message. Choose a narrower animal or character set instead when a specific subject should connect the whole series.

23. Funny Christmas Reindeer Clipart Bundle

Funny Christmas Reindeer Clipart Bundle includes 20 transparent PNG files centered on humorous and quirky reindeer artwork. It is suited to informal holiday cards where personality matters more than traditional elegance, especially for friends, families, children, or recipients who enjoy playful Christmas humor.

Because the set stays focused on reindeer, it can give an entire card batch a consistent visual identity. That same focus is limiting if you want each recipient to receive a very different subject. In that case, a broader watercolor or general Christmas bundle offers more variety without leaving the holiday theme.

24. Watercolor Pink Christmas Clipart Bundle

Watercolor Pink Christmas Clipart Bundle shifts away from the usual red-and-green palette with a softer pink watercolor direction. The large PNG collection suits feminine, pastel, modern, or whimsical holiday cards where color choice is an important part of the overall design rather than just a seasonal accent.

Choose this set when you intentionally want a nontraditional Christmas palette across several coordinated cards. Pink watercolor artwork can make the finished design feel distinctive without moving away from recognizable holiday subjects. For recipients who expect classic seasonal colors, the traditional or vintage bundles are the safer visual match.

How to Use Christmas Clip Art on Holiday Cards

A good card layout usually needs one clear visual priority. Decide first whether the illustration or the greeting should attract attention. Detailed vintage cards, cozy scenes, and trading-card artwork already contain substantial visual information, so they work best with a short message and restrained extra decoration. Isolated watercolor animals, brushstrokes, or smaller Christmas elements leave more room for longer wording.

Keep the recipient in mind before choosing the style. Traditional Santa, greenery, cardinals, trees, and familiar Christmas symbols are flexible across a wide audience. Gnomes, hedgehogs, funny reindeer, sheep, tarot imagery, or skeleton art communicate a much more specific personality. That can make a card feel more personal when the subject matches the recipient, but less suitable when you are preparing one design for everyone.

Color also changes the tone quickly. Deep reds, greens, creams, and aged textures support vintage or traditional cards. Watercolor textures soften the design and pair naturally with warm neutrals or light backgrounds. Retro artwork can support stronger contrast, while pink Christmas graphics work well when you deliberately want to move away from the standard holiday palette.

Before placing the final artwork, check how it reads at the actual finished card size. A detailed scene that looks clear on a large monitor may feel crowded when reduced. Leave enough open space around the greeting, especially if the message includes a family name, date, or several lines of text.

Transparent-background PNGs are convenient for layering artwork over your own card background, but transparency should be confirmed from the current product details rather than assumed from a preview. The same applies to resolution, dimensions, and other technical specifications. If a printer or design platform has its own file requirements, compare those requirements with the downloaded artwork before building the entire card around it.

Licensing is another separate check. A graphic being suitable for a Christmas card does not by itself establish what kinds of personal, client, resale, or commercial uses are permitted. Review the current license associated with the specific product for the way you intend to use the finished design.

---

Before Downloading: Keep the Card Layout in Mind

• Choose scene-based artwork when the illustration will occupy most of the front panel.
• Choose isolated characters or decorative elements when the greeting needs more space.
• Match playful animals and novelty themes to recipients who will appreciate that specific style.
• Test detailed artwork at the actual card size before committing to a full batch.
• Confirm the current PNG, transparency, size, resolution, and licensing details you need.

Which Christmas Clip Art Fits Your Card?

If your priority is a traditional nostalgic greeting, Vintage Christmas Card PNG Bundle or Vintage Christmas Card Clipart Bundle gives the card an established old-fashioned holiday character without needing much extra decoration.

For a softer handmade look, Watercolor Christmas Clipart Bundle offers broader subject variety, while Santa Scottie Dog Watercolor PNG Bundle or Cute Christmas Hedgehog Sublimation makes more sense when a specific animal theme matches the recipient.

If you want the card to stand apart from standard holiday imagery, Christmas Vintage Skeleton Card Clipart provides gothic humor, while Christmas Tarot Card Clipart Bundle takes the design toward a mystical Christmas aesthetic.

For a versatile card series intended for different recipients, a broad set such as Christmas Clipart Santa Claus PNG Winter, Retro Christmas Clipart Bundle PNG, or Watercolor Christmas Clipart Bundle gives you more room to vary the artwork without changing the overall seasonal direction.
